Texas Stars to Host 16th Annual Teddy Bear Toss Night
Dec 2, 2025The Texas Stars are set to host their 16th annual Teddy Bear Toss Night on Friday, December 12 at 7pm against the San Jose Barracuda.
This year's Teddy Bear Toss is presented by Texas Children's Hospital North Austin.
What is Teddy Bear Toss? Great question! When the Stars score their first goal, all fans in attendance will begin throwing new or gently used stuffed animals onto the ice. There is NO limit to how many stuffed animals or the size of the stuffed animals fans can bring. We encourage fans to bring as many stuffed animals as they can!
Every single stuffed animal will be donated to Operation Blue Santa, and new this year, a certain amount will go to Texas Children's Hospital North Austin. The goal of Teddy Bear Toss is to help make the holidays a little brighter for children who won't get presents due to financial and family reasons, as well as children in the hospital during the holidays.
If fans want to bring lots of stuffed animals but don't want to throw all of them, they can donate directly to the Game Operations table behind Section 114 near the North entrance—they will be counted the same as those thrown.
Last season, we set a new record by tossing 2,881 bears after Matej Blumel scored in the first period! We want to beat that record!
