Texas Stars Return Goaltender Pat Nagle to Idaho

CEDAR PARK, Texas – The Texas Stars, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Dallas Stars, announced today that the club has returned goaltender Pat Nagle on loan to the Idaho Steelheads, the team's ECHL affiliate.

 

Nagle, 25, was recalled to Texas on Thursday and dressed as the backup goalie for the Stars' two weekend home games against the Grand Rapids Griffins. The Bloomfield, Michigan native has appeared in 22 games for Idaho this season, posting an 11-10-1 record, with a 2.83 goals-against average, a 0.920 save percentage and one shutout. Nagle signed a standard AHL contract with the Stars on August 27, 2013 and appeared in one pre-season game, making 21 saves to combine with starter Josh Robinson for a 3-0 shutout win over the San Antonio Rampage on September 29, 2013 at Cedar Park Center.

The Texas Stars will return to action on Wednesday, January 29th as they host the San Antonio Rampage for a 7:00 p.m. face-off at Cedar Park Center.
