Texas Stars Make Roster Moves

CEDAR PARK, Texas – The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars, announced a series of roster moves today as the team has called up forwards Jesse Root, Branden Troock, and defenseman Mike Dalhuisen from their ECHL affiliate, the Idaho Steelheads.

All three players have already spent time previously this season with Texas. The 20-year-old Troock has appeared in four games this season the Stars, tallying an assist.  He has a goal and an assist in five games this season with Idaho.

Dalhuisen and Root each started the season in training camp with Texas, and have been called up previously this season to the club.  Root is tied for second on the Steelheads with 10 points (four goals, six assists) and Dalhuisen has appeared in two games this year.

The Stars face off at Charlotte on Monday at 5 p.m. CST.
