Texas Stars Loan Goaltender Bryan Thomson to Idaho

CEDAR PARK, Texas – The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars, announced today the club loaned goaltender Bryan Thomson to the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL.

Thomson, 21, has a 16-7-1 record, a 2.87 goals-against average and .907 save percentage in 29 games this season for the Steelheads. The rookie goaltender has yet to make his AHL debut after signing a two-year contract with Texas on July 27, 2023.

Texas takes on the San Diego Gulls tonight at 7:00 p.m. PT at Pechanga Arena San Diego, before finishing a five-game road trip Saturday at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, California, with a 6:00 p.m. PT puck drop against the Coachella Valley Firebirds. Catch the action on AHL TV.
