Texas Stars Announce 2023-24 Promotional Schedule

CEDAR PARK, Texas – The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars, revealed the club’s full promotional schedule for the 2023-24 season today.

 

The Stars’ 15th anniversary season features fan-favorite themes, such as Renaissance Faire Night (Jan. 14), Star Wars Night (Jan. 26), two Military Appreciation Weekends (Nov. 10-11 and Mar. 29-30), Hockey Fights Cancer Weekend (Nov. 17-18) and Pink in the Rink (Feb. 16-17). Texas will also roll out Jurassic Night for the first time Jan. 6 at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park.

 

The team will sport a variety of specialty jerseys throughout the season, and dole out 16 different giveaway items, including 15th anniversary memorabilia, such as T-shirts (Oct. 14), clear belt bags (Mar. 9) and cooler bags (Apr. 6). Other fun giveaway items include Ringo youth replica jerseys (Dec. 9), pop-up lanterns (Jan. 6) and Curtis McKenzie bobbleheads (Feb. 3).

 

Full, 24-game, and 12-game ticket packages are on sale now, and individual game tickets will go on sale at a later date.

H-E-B Nights return for every weeknight home game Mondays through Thursdays throughout the season. When fans bring any H-E-B branded, non-perishable food item to the H-E-B Center box office, they can get a $5 discount on their ticket purchase for that weeknight game.

 

Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Family Four-Packs are back as well. Starting at just $19 per person, fans can get four tickets, four hot dogs and four soft drinks for any Friday, Saturday or Sunday home game.

 

Fans over 21 can also enjoy $3 domestic draft beers at every Friday home game.

 

Here’s a breakdown of the 2023-24 promotions and giveaway items, by month:

 

OCTOBER

The 15th anniversary season gets underway Friday, Oct. 13 and Saturday, Oct. 14 with Opening Weekend, presented by Visit Cedar Park. Prepare for the 2023-24 season be grabbing a Texas Stars Magnet Schedule at both games, as the Stars battle the Tucson Roadrunners. Saturday, fans can also collect a Texas Stars 15th Anniversary T-Shirt.

 

The Stars wrap up the month with a Team Poster giveaway, presented by Community Impact Newspaper, on Saturday, Oct. 28 when the team hosts the Manitoba Moose. Stick around after the game to get your favorites players’ autographs.

 

NOVEMBER

The first of two Military Appreciation Weekends commences Friday and Saturday, Nov. 10-11. Texas will wear specialty Military Appreciation jerseys both nights as the team takes on the Milwaukee Admirals. The jerseys will be auctioned on the DASH Mobile App during both games. Arrive early Saturday to take advantage of the Red Poppy Beanie giveaway.

 

Hockey Fights Cancer Weekend returns Nov. 17-18 as the Stars and their fans raise money and awareness for a great cause. The players will be wearing specialty Hockey Fights Cancer jerseys for both games against the Grand Rapids Griffins, which will be auctioned throughout the weekend, and Saturday will feature a Purple Shoe Laces giveaway.

 

DECEMBER

Get ready to donate new teddy bears and stuffed animals to those in need before the holidays, as the annual Teddy Bear Toss is Friday, Dec. 8 when the Stars welcome the Chicago Wolves. Fans are encouraged to throw those stuffed animals on the ice when Texas scores its first goal. The following night is Ringo’s Birthday, presented by Texas Children’s Hospital, as the Stars face the Wolves Saturday, Dec. 9. Fans who arrive early can collect a Ringo Youth Replica Jersey and help celebrate your favorite mascot’s special day.

 

Take part in the Stars’ Winter Wonderland festivities outside the arena before the game on Wednesday, Dec. 20 as Texas hosts Grand Rapids. Bring your holiday cheer to lead the team into break, as this will be the final home game of 2023.

 

JANUARY

After starting the new year on the road, the Stars return home for the first-ever Jurassic Night at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park on Jan. 6, 2024. Bid on one of the team’s specialty jerseys and arrive early to receive a Stars Pop-Up Lantern giveaway item, as the team hosts the Rockford IceHogs.

 

One week later, fans can arrive early to scoop up a Texas Stars Sticky Note Cube before the squad faces off against Chicago on Saturday, Jan. 13. Then, the popular Renaissance Faire Night returns to Cedar Park on Sunday, Jan. 14. Arrive early for the festivities and activities outside the arena, and make sure you’re in your seats for the 5:00 p.m. puck drop as the Stars face the Wolves again.

 

The busy month of January concludes with two more games to circle on your calendars. Texas will host its annual Star Wars Night on Friday, Jan. 26 against the Coachella Valley Firebirds. Bid on one of the limited Star Wars specialty jerseys during the game. Then, arrive early Saturday, Jan. 27 for the rematch with the Firebirds so you don’t miss out on the Fleece Hockey Helmet giveaway, presented by Baylor Scott & White.

 

FEBRUARY

One giveaway which will surely be a hot commodity is the Curtis McKenzie Bobblehead, presented by Brown Distributing. Get to the game early on Saturday, Feb. 3 when Texas takes on the Bakersfield Condors to collect your bobblehead of the Stars’ captain.

 

The Stars return home on Feb. 16-17 to host Pink in the Rink Weekend, presented by Baylor Scott & White. The players will wear specialty pink jerseys both nights when they face-off against the Iowa Wild. Bid on the jerseys right from your phone throughout the weekend and arrive early on Saturday for the Stars Pink Color Changing Water Bottle giveaway.

 

MARCH

The 15th anniversary fun continues at the beginning of March. Show up early to receive a Stars 15th Anniversary Clear Belt Bag, presented by H-E-B, when the Stars host the San Jose Barracuda on Friday, Mar. 9.

 

The spring version of Military Appreciation Weekend is Friday and Saturday, March 29-30. Texas will again wear specialty jerseys for both games against the Iowa Wild, and those jerseys will be auctioned throughout the weekend. Fans who arrive early for Saturday’s game will receive a Stars Military Appreciation T-Shirt.

 

APRIL

The final month of the regular season stars with a 15th Anniversary Pool/Cooler Bag giveaway, presented by Brown Distributing, on Saturday, Apr. 6 when the Stars take on the Milwaukee Admirals. The next day is the Stars’ annual Pucks ‘N Paws game, presented by Raising Cane’s. Sunday’s game starts at 5:00 p.m., so arrive extra early to grab one of the Ringo Bowl giveaway items.

 

Saturday, April 20 is Fan Appreciation Night at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park, presented by Austin Telco Federal Credit Union. The 16th and final giveaway item is a Mini Hockey Helmet Pen Holder, as the Stars complete the regular season schedule.
