
Texas Signs Defenseman Aidan Hreschuk to AHL Contract
Sep 5, 2025CEDAR PARK, Texas – The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars, announced today that the club has signed defenseman Aidan Hreschuk to an AHL contract for the 2025-26 season.
Hreschuk, 22, joins the Stars for his first pro season after spending four years at Boston College. The defenseman skated in 146 career games for the Eagles, compiling 38 points (6-32—38). Hreschuk helped Boston College win back-to-back regular season Hockey East titles as a junior and senior, while contributing to the Eagles’ Hockey East tournament championship in 2023-24.
Prior to attending school, Hreschuk spent two seasons with the U.S. National Team Development Program from 2019-21. He also represented Team USA in the 2021 Under-18 World Junior Championships, where he chipped in two assists in five games.
The 5-foot-11, 179-pound native of Long Beach, California was originally undrafted before attending school.
