Dallas Stars Loan Dustin Jeffrey to Texas Stars

CEDAR PARK, Texas – The Texas Stars, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Dallas Stars, announced today that Dallas has loaned forward Dustin Jeffrey to Texas.
Jeffrey, 25, has skated in 22 games for the Dallas Stars and Pittsburgh Penguins this season, posting two assists and 18 shots for both clubs. The 6-foot-1, 205-pound forward has played 112 career NHL contests registering 29 points (15 goals, 14 assists). Originally drafted by Pittsburgh as their 171st selection in the 2007 NHL Draft, the Sarnia, Ont., native was claimed off waivers by Dallas on Nov. 17, 2013. Jeffrey has appeared in 182 career AHL games, all with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, piling up 154 points (52 goals, 102 assists) and 55 penalty minutes.
The Dallas Stars return to action tonight as they host the Pittsburgh Penguins for a 7:00 p.m. puck drop at American Airlines Center.
The Texas Stars will complete their three-game week as they host the Grand Rapids Griffins again tonight for a 7:00 p.m. face off at Cedar Park Center.
