Dallas Reassigns Goalie Tyler Beskorowany to Texas

Stars Send Defenseman Jace Coyle to Idaho
 
CEDAR PARK, TX – The Texas Stars, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Dallas Stars, announced today that Dallas has reassigned goaltender Tyler Beskorowany to Texas from the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL. In addition, defenseman Jace Coyle has been reassigned from Texas to Idaho.
 
Beskorowany (pronounced behs-kohr-WAH-nee), 22, returns to Texas for the third time this season and he has served as the Stars’ backup goaltender for a total of eight games.  The Hanmer, Ontario native has appeared in 30 ECHL games this season for Idaho, posting a 16-11-3 record with a 2.80 goals-against average, a 0.911 save percentage and one shutout.  Beskorowany was drafted by Dallas in the second round (59th overall) of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft and has played in 51 career AHL games for Texas, with a 17-27-1 record, 3.10 goals-against average, an 0.899 save percentage and two shutouts.
 
Coyle, 22, has played in ten AHL games for the Stars this season, posting three assists and two penalty minutes.  The Cranbrook, British Columbia native has 24 points (6 goals, 18 assists), 28 penalty minutes and a plus-13 rating in 30 ECHL games for Idaho this year.  In his second professional season, Coyle appeared in 48 games as a rookie for Texas during the 2011-12 season, recording five points (1 goal, 4 assists) and 6 penalty minutes.
 
The Stars hit the road for a pivotal pair of weekend games against the Charlotte Checkers, beginning Friday March 15 at 6:00 p.m. CDT at Time Warner Cable Arena.  Texas returns home on Tuesday March 19 for a 7:30 pm. faceoff against the San Antonio Rampage at Cedar Park Center for another H-E-B Night.
