21FAQHeader-STHFAQ.png

The Texas Stars thank our fans for their patience this past year as we awaited more details on the upcoming season.  We ask for your continued understanding as we make adjustments to our operations to allow us to host Texas Stars home games for the 20-21 season with a limited number of fans.

Below are details on adjustments and answers to some frequently asked questions as we prepare for this unique season while also looking ahead to 2021-22.

For clarity we will continue to refer to this upcoming season as the 20-21 season. The 21-22 season is scheduled to begin in Fall 2021. Due to the possible staggered/partial release of the schedule we will require you to pick at least four (4) games from the initial schedule release should the schedule not be released in full.

21FAQ-ScheduleAndSeating.png

How many games are the Texas Stars playing at home?

The Texas Stars anticipate being scheduled for nineteen (19) home games during the 2020-21 season.

Will I have my regular seats for 20-21 games?

We are still in the process of finalizing our seating map for 20-21.  Seats will be setup in "pods" and some areas will not be available for seating including the first 4 rows, areas around the benches, penalty boxes, Zamboni tunnel, and home player tunnel. Due to the pod seating and limited capacity you most likely will not receive your existing seats for your chosen games. Your seats will be selected in a price point that is equal or lesser price than your original seat location (unless requested otherwise). Season ticket holders who select from the below options will automatically have their seat location reserved for 21-22 assuming return to normal operations.

The below options also come with a number of adjustments to planned benefits. By selecting one of the options that opts-in to seating in 20-21 you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions which may be found HERE.  To view updates to the Season Ticket Holder Benefits please click  HERE. A survey will be sent to you at a later date to submit your option.

SEASON TICKET HOLDER BENEFITS

The change in the length of season, allowable capacity, and operational changes due to the ongoing pandemic will also affect certain benefits planned for the 20-21 season.  Adjustments to benefits for this unusual season are outlined below and we appreciate your understanding.

Refillable/Re-Usable Season Ticket Holder – Soda Cups, Straws, Popcorn Buckets

  • The Texas Stars will not be issuing any re-usable items for the 20-21 season.  The season ticket holder rate of $3 for fountain sodas will be available any bar location or concourse storefront.  A popcorn rate of $2 will also be available at concourse storefront locations.

RTIC Cooler / AHL TV Road Game Package

  • The RTIC cooler gift and AHLTV Road Game Package will be made available to accounts opting in on the Full and Half season options with the same guidelines previously announced with an adjustment for the new season length.  That is one (1) cooler for each full season seat (in this case 19-games) or one (1) cooler per every two 10-game packages.  The AHLTV package is one per full season account and one per every 10-game account with a minimum of two seats.

Buddy Passes

  • Due to the adjusted season length and the limited capacity available we are pro-rating the number of Buddy Passes based on which option is selected.  Please note that buddy pass seats will most likely not be near your assigned seating or will require you to relocate along with your buddy pass to a new seating location for the game.
  • Option 1 – Full Season – 3 buddy passes per seat
  • Option 2 – Half Season – 1 buddy pass per seat

Ticket Exchange

  • Due to how seats will be assigned for games we will not be able to bank tickets for 20-21 without immediately selecting a replacement game.  With limited capacity we would be unable to guarantee a ticket banked without a replacement game selected could be redeemed later in the schedule.

Dallas Stars Game Tickets

  • Due to Dallas Stars limited capacity we are unable to offer this to our full-season package holders this year.

Club Section Benefits

  • In-seat service will not be available at Stars games.  We are evaluating some other options at this time.
  • Complimentary soda and popcorn will be provided but will not be self-service.
  • The plated chef’s table option will be available.

Team Events and On-Ice Activities

  • Per AHL guidelines you’ll note we will not be holding any on-ice activities including intermission contests, Zamboni® rides, bench experiences, or performances.  There will be no live anthem performances of any kind.  Autograph sessions are prohibited by the AHL until further notice.
  • Lastly, AHL guidelines prohibit mascots at games, so unfortunately you will not be seeing Ringo this season at home games.

21FAQ-OptionOne.png

OPTION 1 - OPT-IN TO ALL HOME GAMES

What this means for the 20-21 season:

  • This option signifies that you would like to attend all 20-21 Texas Stars home games at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park, if available.  You will be asked to confirm the number of seats you are requesting. This selection will give you the highest priority in access to available regular season games as well as assigned location.

How will my location be assigned?

  • Selecting Option 1 will give you the highest priority for seat placement. Due to limited time and inventory, the Stars will place Option 1 ticket holders into available seats.
  • The Stars will make best efforts to place you in a location comparable to your original 20-21 seat location. Your seats will be selected in a price point that is equal or less than your original seat location (unless requested otherwise), based on priority and available inventory.
  • If your chosen seats are ultimately unsatisfactory, you will have the ability to change your Option selection to an alternative Option (2, 3 or 4). Our ability to change locations after the seat selection process will be extremely limited given inventory restrictions.

How will my price be impacted?

  • Your seats will be priced based on your assigned seating area and the per-game full season ticket rate previously announced. That price will be flat across all 19 scheduled regular season games and credits from your previous payments will be applied to this balance.

What will happen to my remaining credits paid toward this season?

  • If there are remaining credits on your account after they have been applied to your games, they will be rolled towards your 21-22 packages. If there is a balance remaining after your credits are applied, a payment plan for 21-22 will be established.

How will this impact my standing for the 21-22 season?

  • There is still a lot to be determined for the 21/22 season. Your location for the 21-22 season is secured and you will have the opportunity to maintain that location and schedule payments at a later date. Any credits rolled towards 21-22 will be applied towards your membership dues.

21FAQ-OptionTwo.png

OPTION 2 - OPT-IN TO HALF OF THE SCHEDULED HOME GAMES

What this means for the 20-21 season:

  • This option signifies that you would like to attend ten (10) of the scheduled nineteen (19) 20-21 Texas Stars home games at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park, if available.  You will be asked to confirm the number of seats you are requesting. This selection will give you the second highest priority in access to available regular season games as well as assigned location.

Can I choose my games?

  • Yes, you may still pick your selected games.  Due to the anticipated partial/staggered release of the schedule we will require you to pick at least four (4) games from the initial schedule release if the schedule is not released in full.

How will my location be assigned?

  • Selecting this option will give you the second highest priority for seat placement. Due to limited time and inventory, the Stars will place season ticket holders into available seats.
  • The Stars will make best efforts to place you in a location comparable to your original 20-21 seat location. Your seats will be selected in a price point that is equal or less than your original seat location (unless otherwise requested), based on priority and available inventory.
  • If your chosen seats are ultimately unsatisfactory, you will have the ability to change your Option selection to an alternative Option (3 or 4). Our ability to change locations after the seat selection process will be extremely limited given inventory restrictions.

How will my price be impacted?

  • Your seats will be priced based on your assigned seating area and the previously announced 24-game package per game rate. That price will be flat across all 10 scheduled regular season games and credits from your previous payments will be applied to this balance.

  • There is still a lot to be determined for the 21-22 season. Your location for the 21-22 season is secured and you will have the opportunity to maintain that location and schedule payments at a later date. Any credits rolled towards 21-22 will be applied towards your membership dues.

21FAQ-OptionThree.png

OPTION 3 - OPT-IN TO MINI-PLAN and SINGLE GAMES

What this means for the 20-21 season:

  • This option signifies that you would like to attend some home games during the 20-21 Texas Stars season at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park, if available.  We anticipate the mini-plan option will include six (6) home games.

Can I choose my games?

  • Yes, you may still pick the games included in your mini-plan option.  Due to the anticipated partial/staggered release of the schedule we ask that you select at least two (2) games from the initial schedule release if the schedule is not released in full.

How will my location be assigned?

  • Due to limited time and inventory, the Stars will place season ticket holders into available seats.
  • The Stars will make best efforts to place you in a location comparable to your original 20-21 seat location. Your seats will be selected in a price point that is equal or less than your original seat location (unless otherwise requested), based on priority and available inventory.
  • If your chosen seats are ultimately unsatisfactory, you will have the ability to change your Option selection to Option 4. Our ability to change locations after the seat selection process will be extremely limited given inventory restrictions.

How will my price be impacted?

  • Your seats will be priced based on your assigned seating area and the previously announced 12-game package per game rate. That price will be flat across all selected regular season games and credits from your previous payments will be applied to this balance.

  • There is still a lot to be determined for the 21-22 season. Your location for the 21-22 season is secured and you will have the opportunity to maintain that location and schedule payments at a later date. Any credits rolled towards 21-22 will be applied towards your membership dues.

21FAQ-OptionFour.png

OPTION 4 - OPT-OUT OF 20-21

What this means for the 20-21 season:

  • You are electing to decline your ticket plans for the 2020-21 season and are transferring funds paid toward this season to your 21-22 plans. This option signifies that you do not want to attend Texas Stars home games for the 20-21 season. You will still have options for single game tickets, if available, but you are opting out of options to be seated in a plan for the season. Your account credit will be applied toward your 21-22 season ticket packages but can be used for 20-21 home games, if seats are available.

How will my price be impacted?

  • As a season ticket member who is opting-out for 20-21 your seats, if you ultimately select any seats/game for 20-21 your seats will be priced based on your assigned seating area and the per-game rate associated with the package level you opted out of.

How will this impact my standing for the 21-22 season?

  • You’re still a part of the Texas Stars ticket holder fan base.  You’ve opted out for 20-21 but we look forward to seeing you in 21-22.  Your location for the 21-22 season is secured and you will have the opportunity to maintain that location and schedule payments (if needed) at a later date. Any credits rolled towards 21-22 will be applied towards your renewal for 21-22.

21FAQ-Alternatives.png

ALTERNATIVES

What if I would like an alternative to the four presented?

We hope that one of the previously listed Options meets your needs for the 20-21 season.

The Texas Stars Ticket Department will work with you should an alternative be necessary.

Also, due to a very short timeframe and expected high inbound inquiries, response time may be delayed. Thank you for your patience.

How do I get a refund of my credits?
