Van Brabant Released from Tryout Agreement

Forward Appeared in 21 Games for Texas

CEDAR PARK, Texas – The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars, announced Tuesday the team has released forward Bryce Van Brabant from his professional tryout agreement.

Van Brabant, 25, began the season with Texas after signing a tryout agreement in training camp. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound forward appeared in 21 games this season for the Stars with a goal and an assist.

The Texas Stars are the primary development affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars, and are currently playing their eighth season at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park.
