- Texas’ big call up this month was center Justin Dowling who has since played in each of Dallas Stars last four games. The eighth-year pro tallied an assist in his season debut with Dallas after earning six points (2-4=6) in seven AHL games. Dowling has played in 453 pro games at the NHL, AHL, and ECHL levels since turning pro in 2011.
- Roope Hintz began the season in Dallas and played five NHL games, but since his return to the Texas Stars has earned four points (1-3=4) in just three games. The Finnish prospect has recorded 39 points (21-18=39) in 78 AHL games.
- Forward Brad McClure leads the team’s ECHL affiliate, the Idaho Steelheads in scoring with eight points (6-2=8) in eight games. McClure signed his first pro deal with Texas during the offseason.
