Texas Returns Goalie Josh Robinson to Idaho

CEDAR PARK, Texas – The Texas Stars, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Dallas Stars, announced today that the club has returned goaltender Josh Robinson on loan to the Idaho Steelheads, their ECHL affiliate.

Robinson, 23, has appeared in 15 games for Texas this season, posting a 6-6-0 record with a 3.30 goals against average (GAA), a 0.882 save percentage (SV%) and one shutout. The Frankenmuth, Michigan native is 9-6-1, with a 2.77 GAA and a 0.905 SV% in 17 ECHL games this year with Idaho. Robinson, who originally signed with the Stars last season as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan Tech University, re-signed a one-year AHL contract with Texas on July 12, 2013.

The Texas Stars will complete their current three-game road trip tonight at 7:05 p.m. with their sixth, and final, regular season meeting with the Iowa Wild at Wells Fargo Arena. The Stars will return to Cedar Park Center on Friday, March 21st as they host the Oklahoma City Barons at 7:30 p.m. Friday’s game kicks off Military Appreciation Weekend presented by Round Rock Auto Group and $3 Beer & $4 Robert Mondavi Private Selection Wine Night.
