Stars Assign Mike Dalhuisen to Idaho

CEDAR PARK, Texas – The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars, announced today they have reassigned defenseman Mike Dalhuisen to their ECHL affiliate, the Idaho Steelheads.

Dalhuisen (dal-HWEE-sehn), 25, has appeared in five games this season for the Stars and scored his first career AHL goal on Nov. 15, against the Grand Rapid Griffins.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound blueliner began the year in training camp with the Stars before he was assigned to Idaho at the start of the regular season.  Dalhuisen has appeared in a pair of ECHL games this year for the Steelheads.

The Stars host the Oklahoma City Barons on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
