Stars Announce Make-Up Date for Suspended Game in San Antonio

CEDAR PARK, TX – The Texas Stars, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Dallas Stars, announced today Texas’ suspended game at the San Antonio Rampage on March 1st will be resumed on Thursday, March 27th at 7:00 p.m. at AT&T Center.

The game will resume with 12:01 remaining in the first period and the Stars leading 2-0. Texas jumped out to an early lead last Saturday on goals by Scott Glennie and Curtis McKenzie before play was suspended just 7:59 into the opening frame. The Stars were out-shooting the Rampage 4-2 and killed off the game’s only penalty.

San Antonio announced that fans that were at the game on March 1st will be able to use their tickets for the game on March 27th, plus they can present their March 1st tickets at the AT&T Center SE Box Office to receive an equal number of tickets to any upcoming 2013-14 Rampage regular season game. The box office is open Monday – Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and on game nights.

The Rampage will offer free parking for the make-up game on March 27th and fans can redeem their parking ticket from March 1st for free parking at any future 2013-14 Rampage regular season game. The Texas Stars will complete their a five-game road trip on Wednesday, March 5th as they again battle the Abbotsford Heat for a 9:30 p.m. CT face off at Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre. Texas will return to Cedar Park Center Saturday, March 8th to face the Charlotte Checkers with a 7:00 p.m. face off. Saturday’s game is a Coke Zero Family Four Pack Night and a Texas Lottery Lucky Row Night, as well as a Stars Team Poster giveaway and there will be a post-game autograph session.
