Lindback Recalled to Dallas, Rynnas Returns to Texas

CEDAR PARK, Texas – The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars, announced today goaltenderAnders Lindback has been recalled to the NHL, and goaltender Jussi Rynnas was reassigned to Texas.
 
Lindback, 26, has appeared in five games with Dallas this season and holds a record of 0-5-0 with an .861 save percentage and a 4.63 goals against average. In five games played for Texas, he posted a 3-2-0 record with a 1.59 goals against average and a .946 save percentage. 

The 6-foot-6, 215-pound native of Gavle, Sweden was originally selected by Nashville in the seventh round (207th overall) of the 2008 NHL Draft, and was signed by Dallas as a free agent on July 1, 2014.

Rynnas (YOO-see ROO-nuhs), 26, appeared in two games for Dallas this season, posting a 0-1-0 record with a 4.57 goals against average and an .841 save percentage. He has posted a 5-1-4 record with a 2.58 goals-against average and a .913 save percentage in 10 games played with Texas this season.

The 6-foot-5, 210-pound native of Pori, Finland was signed by Dallas as a free agent on July 7, 2014
