Dallas Stars Return Colton Sceviour to Texas Stars

CEDAR PARK, Texas – The Texas Stars, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Dallas Stars, announced today that Dallas has returned right wing Colton Sceviour to Texas.

Sceviour, 24, has registered four points (3 goals, 1 assist) and a +2 plus/minus rating in eight games with Dallas this season. He scored his first career NHL goal on Dec. 14, 2013 at Winnipeg and two of his three goals have been game-winners. The 6-foot, 200-pound forward leads the AHL with 21 goals and ranks second on Texas, and in the league, with 35 points (21 goals, 14 assists) in 28 games. The native of Red Deer, Alta., was selected by Dallas in the fourth round (112th overall) of the 2007 NHL Draft.

The Dallas Stars return to action on Saturday, January 4th as they host the Detroit Red Wings for a 7:00 p.m. puck drop at American Airlines Center.

The Texas Stars will complete their three-game road trip tonight with another match up with the Charlotte Checkers, a 6:00 p.m. CT faceoff at Time Warner Cable Arena. Texas will return home to face the Abbotsford Heat on Friday, January 10th with a 7:30 p.m. face off at Cedar Park Center.
