Dallas Stars Recall Goaltender Landon Bow

thumb20181120_Bow.pngFRISCO, Texas - Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has recalled goaltender Landon Bow from the Texas Stars. In a separate transaction, the Stars have also reassigned forward Tony Calderone to the team’s ECHL affiliate, the Idaho Steelheads.

Bow, 23, has appeared in 12 AHL games with Texas so far this season, logging a 6-3-1 record. The netminder holds a 2.81 goals against average and a .896 save percentage so far in 2018-19. Bow has amassed a 33-25-11 record with a 2.92 GAA, a .900 SV% and one shutout in 74 career AHL regular-season games.

The 6-foot-5, 210-pound native of St. Albert, Alberta was originally signed as an undrafted free agent on March 10, 2017.

Calderone, 24, is also skating in his rookie year and scored one goal in six games with the Stars to start the season. The 6-foot Trenton, Michigan native played six games for the Steelheads, earning an assist in those games. The University of Michigan alum recorded 92 points (54-38=92) in 134 NCAA games and a career best 45 points (25-20=45) as a senior before turning pro.

The Texas Stars are the primary development affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars, will return to the H-E-B Center on Saturday, Nov. 24 at 7:00 p.m. for Teddy Bear Toss against the San Antonio Rampage.
