Dallas Stars Recall Chris Mueller from Texas Stars

CEDAR PARK, Texas – The Texas Stars, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Dallas Stars, announced that Dallas has recalled center Chris Mueller from loan with Texas.

Mueller, 27, has appeared in one game for Dallas this season recording one shot and winning five out of six faceoffs (83.3%). He is fourth on Texas and is tied for eighth in the AHL with 52 points (24 goals, 28 assists) in 56 games played. Mueller is tied for the league lead with 14 power play goals and is tied for fifth in the AHL in goals. The 5-foot-11, 210-pound native of West Seneca, New York was signed by Dallas as a free agent on July 8, 2013.

The Texas Stars will continue their a five-game road trip today as they take on the Abbotsford Heat for a 12:30 p.m. CT face off at Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre. Texas will return to Cedar Park Center Saturday, March 8th to face the Charlotte Checkers with a 7:00 p.m. face off. Saturday’s game is a Coke Zero Family Four Pack Night and a Texas Lottery Lucky Row Night, as well as a Stars Team Poster giveaway and there will be a post-game autograph session.
