Dallas Stars Reassign Travis Morin to Texas

CEDAR PARK, Texas – The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars, announced today forward Travis Morin has been reassigned to the club by Dallas.

Morin, 31, has posted 10 shots and a +1 plus/minus rating in six games for Dallas this season.  He is currently tied for tenth in the AHL and leads Texas with 40 points (15 goals, 25 assists) in 39 games this season.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound native of Brooklyn Park, Minn. was originally selected by Washington in the ninth round (263rd overall) of the 2004 NHL Draft, and was signed by Dallas as a free agent on July 2, 2010.
