Dallas Stars Assign Anders Lindback to Texas

CEDAR PARK, Texas – The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars, announced today goaltender Anders Lindback has been assigned to the club from Dallas.

 

Lindback (LIHND-bak, AHN-dehrs), 26, has appeared in five games with Dallas this season and holds a record of 0-5-0 with an .861 save percentage and a 4.63 goals against average. The goaltender owns a career 34-40-5 record with a 2.84 GAA and a .902 SV% with three shutouts in 90 career regular-season appearances with Nashville, Tampa Bay and Dallas.
 

The 6-foot-6, 215-pound native of Gavle, Sweden was originally selected by Nashville in the seventh round (207th overall) of the 2008 NHL Draft, and was signed by Dallas as a free agent on July 1, 2014.
