Dallas Recalls Dickinson, Faust Returns to Texas

FRISCO, Texas – Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has recalled forward Jason Dickinson from the Texas Stars, Dallas' top development affiliate in the American Hockey League.

Dickinson, 21, has appeared in one game with Dallas this season, recording one blocked shot in 10:08 of ice time. The forward has registered 14 points (4-10=14) in 19 games with Texas this season.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound native of Georgetown, Ont. was selected by Dallas in the first round (29th overall) of the 2013 NHL Draft.

The Texas Stars also announced Monday the club has signed defenseman Joe Faust to a professional tryout agreement.

Faust, 25, has tallied 18 points in 28 games this season with the ECHL’s Idaho Steelheads (7-11=18). The 6-foot, 205-pound native of Bloomington, Minn. appeared in two games last week with Texas. Faust is a former fourth-round pick of the New Jersey Devils in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft (114th overall). Last season, he also tallied 10 points in 38 games with the ECHL’s Adirondack Thunder (2-8=10).

The Texas Stars are the primary development affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars, and are currently playing their eighth season at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park.
