Dallas Reassigns Tyler Beskorowany To Texas

Stars Add Goalie From ECHL Affiliate Idaho Steelheads

CEDAR PARK, TX – The Texas Stars, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Dallas Stars, announced today that Dallas has reassigned goaltender Tyler Beskorowany (behs-cohr-WAH-nee) to Texas from the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL.
 
Beskorowany, 22, was assigned to Idaho after attending the Texas Stars training game.  The Sudbury, Ontario native has appeared in 20 games this season for the Steelheads, posting a 10-7-3 record with a 2.61 goals-against average, a 0.913 save percentage and one shutout.  Beskorowany was drafted by Dallas in the second round (59th overall) of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft and has played in 51 career AHL games for Texas, with a 17-27-1 record, 3.10 goals-against average, an 0.899 save percentage and two shutouts.
 
Texas gets back to work on Saturday, January 12th against the San Antonio Rampage for a 7:00 p.m. faceoff at Cedar Park Center.  Pink in the Rink Weekend presented by Cedar Park Regional Medical Center continues Saturday as the game-worn pink ribbon jerseys will be auctioned off.  Saturday night is another Family Four Pack Night and is the Pink in the Rink Puck Giveaway courtesy of the Stars and Cedar Park Regional Medical Center.  Also on Saturday the Stars will continue hosting the Health & Lifestyle Expo around the concourse at Cedar Park Center.  Doors will be open 30 minutes earlier, at 5:30 p.m. Saturday’s vendors include: Vitalogy Skincare, Silverleaf, NextCare and Liberty Mutual.  Pro-rated full and partial 2012-13 season seat packages are on sale now.
