2018-19 Promotional Schedule Announced!

CEDAR PARK, Texas – The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars, announced today their promotional and giveaway schedule for the upcoming 10th anniversary season.
Stars fans can take advantage of a variety of promotions this season with 16 giveaway items, eight theme nights, five specialty jersey auctions and three weekend specials. Returning promotions include two-dollar domestic draft beers every Friday and Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Family Four-Packs every Thursday-Sunday. Fans can purchase four tickets, hot dogs and soft drinks starting at $16 per person with a Family Four-Pack. Every Saturday night, and select Wednesday’s and Friday’s, are Texas Lottery Lucky Row Nights where the first Stars player to score wins free scratch tickets for a lucky row of fans.
In total, fans will enjoy 30 Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Family Four-Pack nights, 13 Friday beer specials, 10 H-E-B Nights and seven Winning Wednesdays.

Highlights among the Stars’ 2018-19 promotional schedule include:
Opening Weekend on Friday, Oct. 5 and Saturday, Oct. 6, presented by ABC Home & Commercial Services. Friday’s game features a magnet schedule giveaway and Texas will raise their Western Conference Champions banner to the rafters after last season’s trip to the Calder Cup Finals. Saturday’s game will feature a 10th anniversary water bottle giveaway.
Stranger Things night on Saturday, Oct. 27, presented by Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority. The world of Hawkins, Indiana and life in the Upside Down comes to H-E-B Center and fans arriving early will receive a flashlight keychain giveaway.
The first Military Appreciation night of the season will be Saturday, Nov. 10 and feature Stars and Stripes-themed jerseys worn by the players available for auction. There will also be a knit cap giveaway presented by Re-Bath of Austin and Family Four-Pack ticket specials for fans.
Marvel Superheroes Black Panther and Spiderman will be on hand Friday, Jan. 11 as the Stars honor First Responders on Hometown Heroes night. Family Four-Packs and two-dollar beer specials will also be available.
Harry Potter night on Jan. 25 brings a return of the owls and butter beer to H-E-B Center, but this time with an auction featuring specialty Harry Potter-themed jerseys worn during warm-ups prior to the game. Family Four-Packs and two-dollar beer specials are also available during the second year of the event.
Pink in the Rink Weekend is Friday, Feb. 15 and Saturday, Feb. 16, presented by Cedar Park Regional Medical Center. Friday’s game is a Family Four-Pack night, plus two-dollar beer specials. The team will give away pink socks prior to Saturday’s contest, and the whole weekend will feature an auction for the pink jerseys worn by the players to benefit the Breast Cancer Resource Center of Texas.
April’s Military Appreciation Weekend is on Friday, April 5 and Saturday, April 6. Along with Friday’s Family Four-Pack and beer specials, Saturday’s contest will include a camouflage hat giveaway and the whole weekend will feature an auction for the camouflage jerseys worn by the players.
On Nov. 16, Star Wars night is back for the fourth straight season with members of the 501st Legion on hand and a specialty jersey auction to benefit the Leander ISD Educational Excellence Foundation. Other returning favorites include Teddy Bear Toss night on Nov. 24, Postgame Autograph night on March 2, plus March 10 will be a Family Day event featuring a petting zoo and the Stars’ annual Pucks ‘n Paws game where fans can bring their dogs, presented by Raising Cane’s.
New this year, Ringo the Ringtail Cat will have his first birthday celebration on Dec. 29 with a Ringo Wind-Up Toy giveaway, courtesy of Cedar Park Regional Medical Center.
